Join us on the greens on Saturday, October 26th for the 4th Annual SWTest Asia Charity Golf Tournament.

The 4th Annual SWTest Asia Charity Golf Tournament will be held on the King and Prince courses of  The Classic Golf Club and is offered to SWTest Asia 2024 Corporate Sponsors, Exhibitors, and their invited guests.  We are limited to 20 four-some teams and registration is on a first come, first served basis.

Corporate Sponsors

All Sponsors will receive an email invitation on September 9th with instructions to register your golf team. Sponsors will have a two-week priority to register one discounted four-person golf team for USD $1,000 (including golf carts) before registration opens for Exhibitors.  Registration is on a first come, first served basis.  On October 7th, after all sponsors and exhibitors have had an opportunity to register one team, if we still have space for additional teams, we will open registration to sponsors to add a second team.

Exhibitors

On September 23rd, Exhibitors will receive an email invitation with instructions to register one four-person golf team for USD $1,200 including golf carts.  Registration is on a first come, first served basis.

Final Registration Deadline: October 7th, 2024
Registrations must be made by this date! No late registrations and no on-site show ups will be accepted.

This is a great opportunity for some quality, one-on-one time with your most valued customers and is a great way to wrap up the conference! Please note that this is a conference event, and all golfers must be registered for SWTest Asia 2024.

What’s Included With Registration?

  • bus transportation from hotel to golf course and return to airport and hotel
  • a lunch awards party with cocktails

The results of the golf tournament, including hole contests, will be announced at the Lunch Awards Party immediately after the golf tournament, and in an electronic broadcast the following week.

* A portion of each team registration fee will go to the SWTest William Mann Scholarship Fund, which was set up in memory of the SWTest Conference founder, Bill Mann. This Scholarship Fund provides up to a $1,000 travel grant to student attendees to the SWTest Conference.

Play time is 4 hours and 40 minutes per team.

  • 5:30 AM: Bus arrives at hotel lobby
  • 6:00 AM: Bus leaves the hotel
  • 7:00 AM: Bus arrives at The Classic Golf Club
  • 8:00 AM: 1st team starts
  • 9:03 AM: 10th team starts
  • 12:40 PM: 1st team finishes
  • 13:40 PM: 10th team finishes
  • 14:45 PM: Party ends
  • 15:00 PM: Bus leaves The Classic Golf Club
  • 16:00 PM: Bus arrives at the airport
  • 16:40 PM: Bus arrives at the hotel

About The Classic Golf Club

The Classic Golf Club Rules & Regulations

  • Don’t make loud noises.
  • Keep in mind the progress of play. (PLAY FAST)
  • Put soil in the divot marks.
  • Repair the ball marks on the green.
  • Fix the footprints in the bunker.

In addition to the rules above, here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • In the washroom, gently wipe the water droplets around the faucet.
  • In the bathroom, place the washbasin face down after use.
  • Use your mobile phone with care so as not to disturb or make others uncomfortable. (Calls are not allowed in the dining room.)

Dress Code

What to wear when entering and leaving the clubhouse

  • Please wear a jacket and blazer when entering and exiting the clubhouse.
  • Please refrain from wearing T-shirts, sweatshirts, jeans, or sandals.

What to wear when playing

  • Shirts and Tops
    • Shirts with collars (turtlenecks are acceptable) and sleeves must be tucked into the pants.
      However, this does not apply to women’s overblouse shirts, but please refrain from wearing short shirts that show the abdomen.
    • You can wear underwear (functional innerwear) under the shirt.
  • Trousers and Skirts
    • Please wear slacks for pants. Please refrain from jeans, cargo pants, and camouflage patterns.
    • Women are allowed to wear skirts, but please refrain from wearing extremely short skirts.
    • In summer, you can wear shorts. (Short socks allowed) * No sock length regulation)
  • Other Apparel
    • Please wear a hat. (Winter knit hat acceptable)
    • Please be considerate to wear shirts, pants, and skirts that do not look too flashy.
      * Flashy: loud, colorful, and unsuitable (multiple primary colors are used throughout)

Dressing in the dining room

  • Please remove all jumpers, rainwear, windbreakers, hats and sunglasses in the dining room.
  • Please refrain from stepping on the heels of your shoes (stomping or walking loudly), taking your shoes off, or wearing a towel around your neck.

Sponsors will receive Hole Contest signage as well as recognition and thanks in the Program Guide, the mobile app, the SWTA 2023 website, and daily sessions. Sponsors can provide their own Flag or Banner with their company logo at their sponsored hole.

  • Longest Drive at Holes #4, #8 and #11
  • Closest to the Pin at Holes #3, #12 and #17

Drinking Hole Sponsor (Cover costs of drinks & snacks for tournament players)

The Drinking Holes are located at Holes #10 and #15 and have shops located at them. The sponsor would pay for drinks & snacks for tournament players as they play through.  

Sponsors will receive Drinking Hole signage as well as recognition and thanks in the Program Guide, the mobile app, the SWTA 2023 website, and daily sessions. Sponsors can provide their own Flag or Banner with their company logo at their sponsored hole.

The tournament time is at: 6:50 AM for a Scramble.

What’s a Scramble you ask? A scramble format is where each member of the golf group (4 players) hits their Tee shot, and then they select the best drive out of the 4, and they all hit from that spot. Then they select the best shot out of the 4 and hit from that spot on through till they finish the hole.

Registration at the Pro Shop patio will open at 6:30 a.m. All golfers must check in 20 minutes before tee time.  Tee off is at 6:50 a.m. The box breakfast will be delivered to your golf cart if you chose to receive one on the registration form. The Club requires collared shirt and slacks.

UPDATE as of 26 September 2023: All rental clubs available from the Royal Kuan-Hsi Golf Club are currently SOLD OUT. Please make other arrangements should you need clubs. Rental Golf Clubs can be reserved and rented from the Royal Golf Club for NT$600 per day. The golf clubs are five years old and well-used.  If you want newer, better golf clubs, please bring your own or make arrangements with a team member who is local to Taiwan for assistance.  You must reserve your rental clubs using the online golf registration form by September 17th. You will pay the Royal Golf Club directly when you pick up your clubs.
