SWTest Asia 2020 Cancellation Announcement
After thoughtful deliberation, the SWTest Asia Conference leadership has made the difficult, but necessary, decision to cancel the SWTest Asia Conference scheduled for October 15-16, 2020 in Hsinchu, Taiwan.
We believe this is the right thing to do in light of the challenges and restrictions introduced by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The health and safety of our attendees, sponsors, exhibitors and community are our top priority, making it inadvisable for our community to gather at the Hsinchu Sheraton for our third year.
Considering the travel restrictions and quarantine requirements currently in place and expected to exist for at least several months to come, we do not feel it is possible to hold the conference this year.
Our decision to cancel SWTest Asia was based on the following factors:
- Concerns from our Committee Members, Sponsors, and Exhibitors.
- Diligent monitoring of recommendations from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC),World Health Organization (WHO) and the Taiwan government.
- Government and employer travel and quarantine restrictions.
Clearly, this is a profound disappointment for the many members of our closely knit semiconductor community who have made the first two SWTest Asia conferences such a huge success, and were looking forward to a memorable, impactful event in 2020. We are committed to working with the Committee, Speakers, Sponsors, and Exhibitors, to re-schedule SWTest Asia Conference for October 14-15, 2021.
SAVE THE DATE of October 14-15, 2021.
Since we had not opened registration yet for SWTest Asia 2020, there is no need for any refunds.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Until we meet in 2021. Stay safe!
